First Indiana Bank’s Alleged Connection To Accused Indiana Ponzi Schemer Timothy Durham

A little bit of an older link, but an interesting look at First National Bank of Indiana’s potential ties to alleged Durham Ponzi scheme.

The key piece: Anthony P. Schlichte a former executive at FNBI is now/was an Executive Vice President with Durham’s Obsidian Enterprises.

Durham case may taint Indy property dealings

The Durham tentacles continue to grow, now hooking in a Oaklandon fitness center owned by a Durham business partner … and possibly in the hock to Fair Finance for half a million dollars.

Is mass transit in for major makeover?

IndyStar takes a look at a proposed overhaul to Indy’s mass transit involving expanded bus routes, light and commuter rail.

The catch? An extra $10-15 per month per person in sales tax to generate more than a billion dollars for the project.

There’s also a map, which is unfortunately unzoomable.

Sure. Right. Whatever you say.

Original IBJ story (which says essentially the exact same thing as the press release), available here.

Fair Finance investors force company into bankruptcy

Headline’s a little misleading. A group of Ohio investors have filed for an involuntary Chapter 7 bankruptcy for fair Finance, but has not been granted yet.
